Our Mission
To provide uncompromised excellence in dental care for all of our valued patients.
Your health and well-being continue to be our highest priority, and we have carefully planned and revised our office procedures to greatly minimize the risk of infection for our patients and our team members. These added precautions have been implemented to provide the safest possible dental treatment experience as we strive to maintain the optimal dental health for all of our patients. Our dental office is ideally equipped with private patient treatment rooms, which greatly minimizes contact between scheduled patients. We also alternate seating patients between our treatment rooms with each appointment.
We remain committed to:
- Always listening to those who we are privileged to serve
- Earning the trust and respect of our patients, those we work with in our profession, and in our community
- Exceeding your expectations of care
- Striving for continuous improvement to meet these goals.
SERVICES WE CAN OFFER YOU
Crowns, made of either porcelain or ceramic materials, are used to cover and protect cracked teeth, increase comfort, and offer extra support to those that are weak or damaged. If you have old crowns with black lines by the gums, metal-free crowns can be made that will vastly improve the overall appearance of your smile. Please contact our office for a free consultation to see how a crown can greatly enhance your smile and protect your teeth.
Don't let missing teeth or broken dentures hold you back from portraying the confident, healthy smile that you deserve. With today's newest technologies, our office can give you a free consultation and come up with a treatment plan to restore your missing and broken teeth with beautiful porcelain crowns, bridges, or dentures .
Over the years, Jerry A Johnson, DDS dental practice has grown, along with the many families we have been blessed to include as our patients. What a pleasure it is to now include a whole new generation of families as our patients, as the grown children from those families, continue coming to our office while bringing their own children with them.
Restorative Dentistry
Many people suffer from discomfort in their mouth due to an imbalance in their bite. Uneven teeth, due to nighttime grinding or wear, can result in an unbalanced bite. Often patients complain of headaches and TMJ problems because of this condition. Our office will individually assess a patient who is experiencing these problems. Uneven teeth can be built up, restored, and balanced for a more even bite. Often times, a custom-designed night guard to be worn at the bed, helps many patients relieve these symptoms, and can eliminate further damage done at night by tooth grinding.
Teeth Whitening
Many factors can affect the ugly, dark staining we often begin to see on the surfaces of our teeth due to age, coffee, tea, soft drinks, and tobacco. Tooth whitening is a safe and simple way to enhance your appearance through a brighter, more youthful smile. After a free consultation, we will determine if custom bleaching trays which can conveniently be worn at home, are an option for you. These bleaching trays provide a low-cost alternative to those seeking a refreshed smile. Whitening is a safe, simple way to do something special for yourself and help you restore your gleaming smile.

This precise technology speeds up and simplifies the diagnostic part of your treatment and gives us a higher level of care in treating patients. Digital x-rays have the added benefit of using much less radiation during your visit than previous methods used for dental x-rays.

Questions and Answers:
I have an upcoming appointment. Should I reschedule because of coronavirus?
A: If you are healthy, there is no need to cancel your regularly scheduled dental appointment. We do ask that you arrive on time for your appointment, rather than early, to minimize time spent in the waiting area. We are asking patients to use their best judgment and caution surrounding upcoming appointments.
If you are ill with flu-like symptoms, you should reschedule your appointment, which we can assist you with. If you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to a country with large outbreaks of COVID-19 or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or who was quarantined as a precaution, you should reschedule your appointment for at least 14 days from now, which we can assist you with.
If you are over the age of 60 or have an underlying medical condition, such as diabetes and kidney disease, you may be more at risk of becoming seriously ill if you are exposed to the new coronavirus. If care cannot be postponed, Dr. Johnson will take added precautions in managing your care.
If dental care can wait, you may choose to reschedule your appointment. We are happy to assist you with this.
Q : Are you sure that it is safe to keep my appointment? What is your practice doing to protect patients from the virus?
A: Our office always adheres to the highest level of precautions and protocols to prevent the spread of infection, including COVID-19. We follow the CDC’s guidelines for infection control procedures every day, which you can find on their website. Surrounding the new coronavirus, we are taking the additional precautions needed to keep ourselves and our patients as safe as possible. These include the addition of protective barriers around the reception desk, the spacing of reception area seating, spaced-out appointments between patients, new ultraviolet air filtration systems in each room, added PPE for all staff, and new extra-oral suction equipment to capture aerosols during procedures.
